When I became a mom, I quickly realized that the picture-perfect motherhood portrayed on social media wasn’t my reality. “Overwhelmed,” “tired,” and “frustrated” became the words that described my days, and I knew something had to change. I made a conscious decision not to let my circumstances control me. Instead, I chose to create an atmosphere in my home where joy could flourish, even on the hard days.
